DEAN RICK 50 AND COUNTING

AFC Mansfield made the long trip to Easington with a depleted squad through suspensions and work but still came out convincing winners.
Dean Rick put The Bulls on track with a great free kick from outside the box.
He then went on to notch his 50th goal of the season getting his hatrick. Not settling for this he got 5 in total and sits on 52 goals which must be a record for the league.
Credit to all concerned it was a true team effort with Easington trying to spoil the game early on but they played into the hands of AFC as they ran riot once again.
Further goals from Phil Buxton getting a brace, one of them being a real cracker, Joe Naylor, Mark Carter and Mark Robinson put AFC 10-0 up before Easington scored with the last kick of the game to make it 10-1.
The scoreline made the trip worthwhile on a bank holiday Monday and the team now sit 6 points clear at the top of the table.
The AFC Mansfield board would like to thank the players, staff and fans for making the journey and showing commitment to the cause.
