Debut in FA Trophy - Away to Soham Town Rangers

The bulls will enter the FA Trophy for the first time in their history tomorrow afternoon as we make the trip to Soham Town Rangers.  The Bulls have taken part previously in the sister competition to the Trophy, the FA Vase, reaching the 5th Round.  However, this is new ground for the Bulls and they will be looking to make history away at Soham.

Soham Town Rangers are currently bottom of their league and play at step 4 like the bulls.  They have so far this season won one game and drew one game losing the remainder.  Therefore on paper this would be classed as a very winnable tie for the Bulls.

The two sides have never met in any competition prior to tomorrow.

In terms of the squad, it is likely that Jonathan D'Laryea will be struggling to come into the midfield and long term absentee Jack Steers is still side lined.  Apparent from this, Rudy Funk, will have a full squad to pick from.

As with the FA Cup there is also money for the winners of each game in the FA Trophy and the winner of this game will pick up £3,000.

In terms of the rules of the competition then tomorrow if scores are level after 90 minutes then it goes straight to a replay at the Forest Town Arena on Tuesday evening with a 7.45pm kick off.  There is no extra time in the first game of the FA Trophy.

For everyone travelling have a safe journey and we will see you all in Soham.  To any of the bulls faithful not making the trip then you can catch all the action via our social media outlets from around 2pm onwards.

Lets make some more history and let bring the FA trophy to the Forest Town Arena in 2 weeks time with another cup victory.
