AFC Mansfield U21 2 - 0 Heanor Town Reserves

The Young Bulls got off to the perfect start in pre-season with a 2-0 win against a much improved Heanor Town Reserves.

Heanor's young side have had a complete overhaul by new manager Scott Rogers and it certainly shows on this performance.

Goals from Eden Homer and Danny Williams in the 2nd half won the game for AFC Mansfield with Heanor's keeper pulling off some superb saves to deny the home side a bigger score-line.

Finishing was the difference between the sides with the visitors squandering their chances and the home side taking theirs.
