9 man U19's lose first game of the season!

AFC Mansfield lost their first game of the season at Blidworth with five minutes of madness.  'The Bulls' went from being 2-0 up, with an own gaol and a strike from Declan Brewin, to losing the game 4-2 after two players had received their marching orders.

The talking point of the evening however was the double booking of Blidworth's No 8 and the referee failing to send him off.  Despite the officials denying this there were too many eye witnesses from both clubs and neutrals that saw it happen.

AFC Mansfield U19's need to pick themselves up and prepare for the visit of league leaders Mansfield Town FC U19's to The Forest Town Stadium next Wednesday 9th October, kick-off 7.45pm.
