Another good weekend for the Young Bulls!

Everyone's a winner!

It was a great weekend with all our youth teams picking up maximum points.  The AFC Mansfield winning habit appears to be spreading from the senior team all the way down.

The under 15 boys had a 14-0 victory with Tyrane Allsop scoring 4, Lewis Norman scored a hat-trick and Jordan Woolley scoring his second hat-trick of the season.  Well done boys your top of the table.

The ladies had only 10 players available for their game on Sunday, but still managed a 8-2 victory away at Arnold Town ladies.  Millee Clarke scored another 7, taking her tally to 17 goals in two games.  The ladies have Derby County up next at Queensway on Sunday with a 10.30 kick off.  The top two in the league should be a good one.

The under 16's started with a win at Queensway, the conditions were horrible with a strong wind coupled with rain.  The lads played really well to overcome a sending off and manage a 4-3 victory over Brampton Rovers.  A special mention must be given here to Shaun Fones who stepped in to play in goal after Jack Hardy suffered a broken finger in the 1st half.

The under 11's recorded their first win of the season with a 3-2 against Glapwell Gladiators after being 2-0 down in the first half.  Great come back lads.  The under 7's had a 3-0 win against Beaufort Whites on Sunday.

Finally, but no means least the under 10's  achieved a 2-0 win against Clipstone Welfare Colts.  It's a team who have not lost in a couple of years l am told.  The lads had to withstand some pressure in this game but again showed that they have the mental toughness to win the league.

It's great to see everyone embracing the switch to AFC Mansfield and seeing all the teams looking smart shows that this club is going in the right direction to becoming one of the major clubs within this local area.

Just a small note, the club's fundraiser 'Magnificent 7' is a way for your teams to generate additional income.  It's a £1 a go and the forms are available from your managers.  The more you sell within your clubs the more money goes back into your club.  We will give back 50p for ever line you sell. You can sell them to all your friends and family.  This weeks Jackpot is £600.  Well worth a go.

All the best for this weekend and remember the first team are at home on Wednesday night against Phoenix, the players get in for free with their passes and it only £3 for adults.

Let's keep winning Bully Bully!!!!
