AFC PRESENTATION NIGHT GOES WITH A BANG

AFC Mansfield presentation night was attended by over 200 people and certainly went with a bang as striker Carl Haslam fell off the table later in the night as he tried to sing a ballad with fellow striker Mark Carter.
During the very successfull event Dean Rick was given the Players Player as well as the Golden Boot for his tally of 65 goals for the season which is an amazing achievement.
Goalkeeper Dale Shepherd picked up the clubs Player of the Season for his heroic efforts and Pete Craggs picked up The Achievement Award for the hard work and dedication he has shown through the season.
He produces the programme, takes pictures, sorts out The Bulls Sevens as well as matchday duties.
John B Tannen was the compare for the night as The Floodlit Cup,The Notts Intermediate Cup along with runners up in the league and league cup medals were handed out.
Silverware was flowing throughout the night but the players also had a suprise for the directors as awards were given to Steve Hymas, Andy Saunders, Darren Bland and Barry Coleman for making the season happen and providing support for the club.
Flowers were given to Jill Hymas, Carolyn Abbs and Alison Peck for catering and other duties throughout the season and everyone at the event went away very happy but a little worse for wear as they partied into the night.
One not to be missed next season and i'm sure it was a case Sunday morning off.
