ONE IS ENOUGH FOR AFC MANSFIELD

This game was really after the lord mayors show and having now played 3 games in 5 days the strain is starting to take its toll.
It was said before the game that a 1-0 win would do and that's how it turned out.
The game never really flowed and it was a case of getting through it without further injuries.
Phoenix looked a much improved side but didn't trouble the AFC keeper much with the home side having just a couple of chances first half as the teams went into the break 0-0.
In the second half it was a case of looking where the breakthrough would come from and as midfielder Joe Naylor lay on the floor injured the ball broke loose, he rose to his feet and lobbed the keeper before dropping back to the floor and was then taken off.
With the score 1-0 Ed Eley made a fantastic double save to keep The Bulls in front.
Late in the game AFC pushed on but couldn't extend the lead and had to settle for the 1-0 victory that keeps the title hopes alive.
Tuesday night AFC Mansfield make the short trip to Glapwell which will be their 4th game in 7 days including 2 cup finals.
