AFC Mansfield made light work
of third placed Clay Cross Town.
The away fixture was a draw and no-one
saw this coming.
Dean Rick bagged a hat trick in the first half to keep
him top of the goalscoring charts with Joe Naylor making it 4-0 at half
time.
It was all over as to who was claiming the points but Dave
Cockerill smashed his debut goal home in the second half and nearly
ripped the back of the net out.
Rick added a fourth and Danny
Mclane, Callum Green and Mark Carter added to the tally as AFC Mansfield
ran out 9-0 winners.
Clay Cross leading striker Rocky White left empty
handed as the AFC defence did a sterling job keeping him at bay.
AFC now make the long trip to Easington this bank holiday Monday which will be a test of endurance for the players and the
staff.
