AFC Mansfield
and Linby battled out a hard fought 1-1 draw in the Baris League Cup.
AFC took the
lead early on through a Matt Draper header and in the early stages AFC
controlled the game.
However Linby
hit back to level the score before half time and it then turned into a battle
with not much football played on a heavy pitch.
The Bulls had
the better of the chances and late on striker Carl Haslam entered the fray
after being bed ridden all week.
Fair play to
him for turning up and he could have won the game late on.
It wasn’t to
be and the replay will take place this Wednesday night at Forest Town Stadium.
