Coalville Town 1 - 0 AFC Mansfield

The Bulls suffered their first defeat of pre-season when they went down 1-0 to a very good Coalville Town side.

The Ravens took the lead after just 4 minutes when Jason White saved an initial shot only to see the ball fall kindly to Alex Dean who rifled the ball into the roof of the net from 10 yards.

Coalville's slick passing game made it difficult for The Bulls but gradually they forced themselves into the game.

The 2nd half was a flurry of substitutions and AFC got stronger as the game went on.  There were a lot of positives to take out of the game for both sides.
