The Bulls continued their pre-season with a 2-1 win at Clay Cross on Tuesday night. Manager Rudy Funk used the opportunity to look at some of the emerging talent from the U21 squad. No fewer than 10 players were in the squad for the game, with 6 starting the match.
Clay Cross went in front midway through the 1st half but The Bulls stamped their authority on the game in the 2nd half with goals from Brett Lucas and Declan Brewin.
Again, another good run out for both sides with some excellent football played.
AFC Mansfield now have just 1 more friendly before the start of the season, a home game this Saturday against Belper Town from The Evo-Stik League. Kick-Off is 3pm.
