AFC Mansfield returned from the coast with 3 points after defeating Grimsby Borough in a close game at The Bradley Football Centre in Cleethorpes.

Dean Rick put The Bulls ahead after just 50 seconds and an own goal 5 minutes before the break sent the Mansfield side in 2-0 up.

Ther home side pulled one back 5 minutes into the restart, but the 2 goal cushion was restored by Jordan Vilums.

Grimsby pulled another goal back to set up a nervy finish but the Bulls stood firm for the points.
