It has now been revealed that 5 teams have applied for promotion from step 7 to step 6 for the season 2013/2014.
AFC
Mansfield and Dronfield Town have applied from the CML NORTH.with
Sutton Town,Pinxton and Bilborough Pelican applying from the CML SOUTH.
It is not only league position that counts but also ground grading and
the FA get involved with this process.Decisions will be made in the
coming months by the FA and step 6 leagues and it will be interesting to
see where the future lies for AFC Mansfield.
Everything
possible is being done by the club to prepare for promotion and we will
be well capable of the step up should the opportunuty arise.
