BRODSWORTH HIT FOR FOUR

AFC Mansfield cruised to another victory as they hit Brodsworth for four without reply. The game never really looked in doubt but the visitors looked a much better side than the last meeting. However without looking in full flow the bulls were too much on the day and ran out 4-0 victors.
New boy Jay Edwards bagged a brace and leading scorer Dean Rick got his mandatory goal.Carl Haslam in his first game back looked ring rusty but did get on the scoresheet and made a few decent runs.
The pitch at Forest Town didnt promote flowing  football but is the same for both sides. It is something to be looked at in the coming weeks as winter sets in.
It has been a fantastic first half of the season for the fledgling club and the management team will be really happy with the points haul.
With games against Dronfield and Ollerton coming up we will soon see where the title is likely to go and there is still a lot to play for.
