This was a very special day for AFC Mansfield as they racked
up sixteen goals without reply.
It was special in more ways than one as defender Matt Draper
scored his first ever hat-trick in football and his proud father was there to
witness the event.
All of his goals were headers as the defender ventured
forward at set pieces to make his mark.
Funnily enough the score was only 3-0 at half time but the
outcome was never in doubt.
Mansfields three amigos bagged four goals apiece and at
times were unstoppable.
With Matt Drapers three and a fantastic free kick from Danny
Tighe completing the rout AFC Mansfield ran out 16-0 victors and remain at the
top of the table.
Next up are Harworth at Forest Town this coming Saturday
with no game in midweek.
