AFC Mansfield claimed their place back at the top of the
table with this comprehensive win over Kiveton Park last night.
After a nervy
first five minutes and a very dodgy back pass to keeper Dale Shepherd it was
all one way traffic, Kiveton did look a much better standard of opposition and
as was expected didnt shirk many tackles.
This cost them dearly during the game
as when Carl Haslam skipped by one of their defenders he lost his cool and
hacked the player down and was shown a red card.
Earlier two goals from Carl Haslam ,one from Dean Rick and
one from the ever impressive Ricky Chambers had put the game beyond doubt as
AFC ran out 4-0 victors.
Mansfield played some very good football in this game
and sprayed the ball around with ease. There was another good crowd of 175 on
this wet Wednesday night and all is looking good for the new club.
The Bulls now travel to Yorkshire Main this Saturday and
will look to stretch their lead at the top.
